The work began with a phone call. The owner pulled his boat out after the storm. The craft was torn off the pier and hit the pier for a long time. We agreed to meet in order to assess on the spot the scale of the destruction of the hull, draw up a work plan and an estimate.

At the place, our upset owner was waiting, who absolutely did not understand what to do with his beloved boat now.

We made a comprehensive diagnostics of the boat, calculated the cost of surface restoration and the time it would take. The case was difficult, but not critical, since fiberglass is a very repairable material. If the fiberglass body even received a hole, it can be sealed without losing surface quality. And after polishing it is no longer possible to find the place where the damage was. In fact, the fiberglass body can be returned to a new look.

Having washed away the dirt and fouling, we repaired all the scratches, chips, cracks and returned the bottom of the boat to its original state. The complexity of this work was in the almost complete absence of the keel part of the bottom, and during the restoration, the main task was to preserve the geometry of the bottom so that the hydrodynamics of the boat did not change. The second problem was the presence of a raised floor, which did not give access to the damaged parts of the bottom from the cockpit side. But thanks to the extensive experience of our specialists and the use of the latest technologies in the field of composite materials, an excellent result was obtained.

Also, additional work was carried out to restore the functions of the boat after the storm: the hull was covered with antifouling paint, we polished the deck, carried out dry cleaning of the cabin and salon. Diagnostics of the electrical, fuel and drainage systems was carried out, a new fender was installed, the fittings in the cockpit and cabin were replaced (locks, hinges, handles). The performance of the Volvo Penta 4.3 engine was also restored.

The owner of the boat was pleased with the result of the repair. In the spring, it is planned to install an echo sounder, a multimedia system, sewing and installing a running and transport awning.
