Ayurveda guides followers how to sustain harmony and balance between mind and body. This is a non-invasive technique and provides different ways of achieving healthy life. It’s different from taking a balanced diet, herbal remedies, placid exercise and physical therapies. The particular medicine is the concept of prakruti, an individual's unique formation determined at the moment of outset. An individual's prakruti is a particular combination of the three life forces or elements (doshas), which control all physical as well as mental processes; vata, pitta and kapha.
Vata is very useful for movement; the physical movement of body parts, mental movement of the mind in the form of thoughts, feelings and emotions, and the process of respiration. Pitta is helpful in the process of digestion, absorption and assimilation of nutrients. Also, it digests thoughts and feelings and renovates them into understanding, comprehension and perception. Kapha is responsible for providing the body with structure, stability, support and strength. It helps in the withholding of memory, lubrication of joints, and repair of body parts.
All three doshas are present in varying degrees in everyone, but one or two generally preponderate. Good health is maintained when doshas are in balance; if imbalance occurs, health problems can start. Ayurvedic Medicine can help physical and mental condition such as acne, addictions, bacterial Infections, constipation, depression, eating disorders, muscular cramps/stiffness, osteoporosis, sinusitis and stress - emotional and/or physical.
This classification of medicine supporting the health consumer to be an active participant in their own healing, the practitioner promotes the consumer to participate in and keep healthy lifestyle regimes. Most of the healing work needs to be done by the consumer, at home, on their own nutritional changes. The number of Ayurveda sessions you need would depend on your condition. The practitioner would advise on you this in your first appointment. A lot of people go on to use Ayurveda after their condition has been treated as way to endorse good health and avoid further problems.
Ayurvedic Medicine is valuable to people of all ages because of the holistic nature and philosophy of treating the root cause of symptoms.  It is sensible to perform some research and choose a therapist who is either a member of, or accredited by, an association or professional body.  Ayurvedic treatment practitioners are constrained to a code of ethics and process that finds out the therapy is carried out in an appropriate and safe environment.
