Great Opportunity for TJ MAXXinistas!

     Calling all TJ Maxx Shoppers! Promotional tie-in for the incredible new NBC show, This is Us, to be used on air, online, and across social channels. 

Looking for real and diverse non-actors who have interesting stories and life experiences that they would be willing to share on-camera. Participants should be real TJ Maxx shoppers.

Must live in Los Angeles and be available for an in-store interview on 8/31 at the TJ Maxx at the Beverly Connection.

We are accepting video submissions to thecastinglady@gmail.com.  If not able to self-tape, contact us directly at the casting office to arrange to come to the studio and we can record you for consideration.

Self-Submission instructions:

To submit a self-recorded interview, you can use your smart phone, tablet or laptop.  Make sure you are well lit and we can see you.  Head and shoulders or a mid shot is fine.  Be comfortable and conversational as you would be if you were recording this for a friend.  Avoid references to professional acting or auditioning, as they are interested in finding real people so it won't help to hear about roles or projects you've booked.  Better to talk about other work, hobbies, and things that everyday people can relate to.

You can interview by yourself or even with a friend, spouse, or child that may also be interested.  Then try to answer at least two of the following questions that you're comfortable with, but most importantly, have fun with it and make it your own.  There are no right or wrong answers!


            Start off by telling us your name and where you are from.  Then hit on a couple, few or all of these questions:

-  What makes you unique/sets you apart from other people? Has that shaped your life or your outlook on life? If so, how?

- Who is someone that inspires you? What traits make him/her inspirational?

- What kind of role does family play in your life?

- What is the most valuable life lesson or words of wisdom you have received? Whom did it come from, and how has it impacted your life/choices?
         

Call with any questions.  And send the video to thecastinglady@gmail.com as soon as you can please.  Remember if you are selected, you'll need to be available on the 31st to go to the TJ Maxx at the Beverly Connection with your friend, spouse, child, etc...
