If you're looking for a fun and educational activity in Chicago, I highly recommend checking out Penguin Foot Pottery in Logan Square. They offer great kids' pottery classes that are perfect for keeping little ones engaged for a few hours. The instructors are super friendly and really know how to make the experience fun while teaching the basics of pottery. Plus, the kids get to take home their creations, which is always a hit! Another option is Little Bits Workshop in River Forest; they have a variety of creative workshops, including pottery, that are geared towards kids. Both places are great for sparking creativity and giving your kids a hands-on experience they'll love!
