PS4 VS Xbox One: Round one Sony is the winner (2)

  Last time, we analyst design and game ecosystem of PS4 and Xbox One, now let`s continue some other aspect of them:

Function Characteristic (PS4:7;   Xbox One:
PS4 have some new function that include in PS Vita remote control, game broadcast and share function, the new somatosensory is able to bring about strengthen real game and face recognition. But relatively, “Future living room” of Xbox One makes itself have rich muti-media function, for example, Xbox one can compatible with Finite TV Box and control television by Xbox One, but these functions isn`t so perfect now.
By the way, Xbox one can`t read muti-media file, and can`t compatible with play 3D blu ray as PS4 can be.

Parameter of video game console (PS4:8   Xbox One:7)
Both of them use AMD 8 Core processor, and compatible with X86 architecture. What the difference is CPU, PS4 use more advanced DDR5, Xbox One use DDR3. Currently speaking, PS4 is a little better than Xbox One, for example, NBA 2K14, PS4 have a better effect of anti-aliasing. And, some video game can have 1080P display effect. Obviously, it`s a little gap between PS4 and Xbox One.

Cost performance (PS4: 7   Xbox One: 6)
One of the most important superiority of PS4 is it`s CHEAPER. A suit of PS4 is ＄399, Xbox is ＄499. But what can`t be ignored is basic suit of PS4 not include somatosensory camera, it cost ＄60 if you buy it separately. And Xbox One basic suit include Kinect camera. So, fairly, price between PS4 and Xbox One is only ＄40. But PS4 not need somatosensory camera to VC, so you can cut this spend.
For Network service, PS Plus member annual fee is $50, can play games online, and download some games and applications free. Xbox Live member annual fee is ＄60.

Summation: War is just beginning.
The war of video game console always a losing money at the beginning. PS4 only earn ＄18 profit in per PS4. Video game console manufacturers snatch market share by a low price video game console, and make money by sell video games. For customer, if parameter of console isn`t have a obvious gap, gaming source is a deciding factor, so we hope expect the sequels of the classic game, they will launch more new game.
