NETWORK MARKETING
« on: March 17, 2017, 06:12:43 AM »
Network marketing is a ubiquitous part of selling a product. It has been used for many decades, and it  continues to be a great and profitable source of income for both companies and the people who they employ. It’s a great way to get people engaged with the product and to get them buying and selling it for profit. It’s by following this line of network marketing that one can find out just what is necessary to make a network marketing strategy a success. While it takes some investment going into it, network marketing remains one of the best ways to engage both your clients and your employees
WHAT IS NETWORK MARKETING?
Network marketing as a whole is a business opportunity for those who are looking to work part-time for flexible hours. Some companies that employ network marketing include Tupperware, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Avon. What these programs do is they offer a very low investment up front–usually only a couple hundred dollars for a sample kit–and then the rep can sell products directly to family, friends, and personal contacts. They can then expand to reach more and more individuals.
Network marketing reps are asked to recruit still more sales reps, and they are rewarded for such recruiting. The sales reps above them are rewarded and compensated for this rep conversion, and the rep who did the recruiting is rewarded for the conversion too. It’s important to note that these types of companies that make money more off of recruiting than selling products are considered to be pyramid schemes and should be avoided at all costs. It’s always important to keep abreast of the latest trends in network marketing and aware of the many hazards that exist in the field. You’ll want to do your own investigation when it comes to some of these organizations to make sure that they are legitimate and on the up and up. Not all network marketing programs are legitimate, and it’s important to keep aware of this so as to avoid being the victim of a pyramid scheme operation. All it takes is a little extra due diligence being done and you will be able to avoid much headache and heartache.
NETWORK MARKETING COMPANIES.
]Network marketing is conducted in a way where there are two revenue streams: one from the direct sale of a product and another from recruiting. This is done through relationship marketing as well as word of mouth referrals. Reps are also incentivized to bring in more people to the organization.
Network marketing is also known as multi-level marketing. Multi-level marketing has been declared illegal in some areas as a result of its pyramid nature. There have also been accusations that these organizations directly exploit the members through obligation. These members are obligated to recruit other sales reps to the cause, and some say that this is illegal and immoral. The way this works is that a sales rep is considered to be an independent contractor who is more like a small business owner than an employee. In this way, the sales rep is contracting out their work and deriving all of their income from their profits. If they don’t sell, they don’t make any income. This is a controversial business model, but it’s one that’s worked for many decades now.The way that sales are augmented is through the downline. This is when the sales rep recruits new members and gets them to sell new products. For every amount that they make in sales, the original individual gets compensation. This is why people have lambasted this program as a pyramid scheme, although there’s still significant compensation for the ones making the sales. In traditional Ponzi schemes, there’s next to no profit made by the sales rep, and all of the profit goes directly to the higher ups.One common argument by marketing companies is that all organizations retain a pyramid structure with a CEO at the top, managers in the middle, and employees at the bottom. They use this structure to explain the disparity in payment between members at the top and members at the bottom.
NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS.
In order to find out whether a particular multi-level marketing business is legitimate or not, there are a few things that you can consider. First of all, you can consider the products. Companies who market their products through distributors usually have reputable items that are selling for the correct amount. Some, however, offer products that are questionable, overpriced, and are completely unsafe to use. You need to find out what you’re going to be selling and compare it to the competition. Then you need to find out if it’s priced in a competitive manner and if it’s safe. Lastly, you want to see if your recruiter can support all of the claims when it comes to the performance of the product.
Whenever a quick fix or miracle cure is offered, you should always greet it with a healthy dose of skepticism. This is because very often those products are going to be completely useless if not downright harmful. You need to be sure that you’re selling and promoting a product that’s completely safe and totally effective. You can’t do that if you don’t check in with your recruiter as well as a health professional to see the safety of the product. Before you start selling the product that you’re going to be selling, make sure that the claims you’re making can be backed up and confirmed by verifiable facts. It’s not enough to listen to the company and sell using the buzzwords you’ve been given. There’s a fair chance these buzzwords could be false. It’s truly all about being better safe than sorry.
SOCIAL NETWORK MARKETING
Network marketing jobs and purchasing decisions are influenced differently in the social media world than in the brick and mortar world.
Marketing via social networks is done differently than regular network marketing. It’s been shown that some users are influenced by the purchasing behaviors of their friends. It all depends on status here. Those who are in the lower level of status won’t likely be affected in purchasing behavior by other members regardless of what they buy. Those who are in the middle level of status will likely buy things based on the behavior of their friends. Think the “keeping up with the Joneses” effect. That will still be highly prevalent here. Members of the high-status group are actually going to be less likely to buy things based on their friends’ behavior. Instead, they’ll be more likely to focus their time on having unique experiences of their own and posting about it on social media.
As a result of all of this, social influence rises in the middle-class group but makes a sharp decline in the high-status group. It’s important to note, of course, that the network marketing of sites like Facebook and the rest has been very low. The reason for this is that people simply aren’t coming online onto these sites with the idea of buying products in mind. They’re going there to socialize and cultivate friendships with other people.
NETWORK MARKETING ONLINE
The truth of the matter is that online network marketing is doing better than regular network marketing. If the whole purpose of advertising is to influence someone else’s behavior, then there are better ways to do it. Instead of simply going through a humdrum traditional advertising campaign, companies can start to give away some of their products to a select number of users and hope that that starts a viral campaign. Viral campaigns can often be more successful than traditional marketing campaigns, as they bring people together and cause them to engage with the product in a way that couldn’t be done before.
The fact that people are influenced by the behavior of their friends is not new information. This has been a traditional bit of knowledge for as long as there has been knowledge. What is new, however, is the social media aspect of the whole phenomenon. This allows people to network in a way that wasn’t possible before. It also allows for network marketing in a way that simply couldn’t be done in the past. In this way, network marketing can be done in a social media context in a way that simply wasn’t possible before.]etwork marketing is a ubiquitous part of selling a product.
