Diabetes is a disease in which the body can not produce or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone the body uses to convert starch, sugar and other foodstuffs should be energy for your body to function properly. Hello All, new here from the UK. Glad to have joined this community. Yes more than 50% people suffering from diabetes specially for elderly one. You have to control your blood sugar levels and it is in healthy range. Sometimes losing enough weight could help you live diabetes-free. We have Nursing Home in UK for elderly patients in Dorking, Surrey, UK. Looking forward to this group.
