How Long to Boil an Egg

Soft boiled eggs have somewhat taken a back seat, as there is a huge popularity for the other egg recipes and types of boiled eggs like hard-boiled eggs, sunny side ups and those fluffy scrambled eggs too! Nonetheless, they are still popular enough and one of my favorites! If you want to know how long to boil an egg for soft boil, get to know the boiling procedure for soft boiled eggs.

Start the eggs in cold water and put on high heat, once water is at a rolling boil, remove from heat source and cover. Allow to steep for 9 minutes for a perfect hardboiled egg or 3-4 minutes for a soft boiled egg.

It is depend on egg and pressure of hot water. If you want to half boil then 8 minutes are enough to boil and if you want strong egg then 10 to 12  minutes are needed. I like to eat boil egg because it have lots of protein which i need in routine life.
