How To Use NFC On Android
« on: March 05, 2013, 04:09:55 AM »
Since its introduction, Near Field Communication (NFC) is better known for wireless payments. Its commercial application has since expanded to the transportation and retail industries in several places around the world. Some companies use the technology for secure keycards, business cards, and even for employee use in buying pantry food.

I've never used NFC for that, but Did both phones have NFC turned on AND the same program running?

Using NFC on your Android is super easy. Just make sure your phone has NFC by checking in your settings under "Connected devices." Once it's turned on, you can share files by tapping your phones together—just select what you want to share when prompted. If you’re using it for payments, set up Google Pay or another app, then just unlock your phone and hold it near the terminal to pay. For reading NFC tags, just tap your phone to the tag, and it should pop up with an action. If you run into any issues or have more questions, just let me know!
